Donkersloot comes from a long family history in carpets, so we know everything about this product. How carpet behaves when laid, what influence humidity and temperature have on it, the impact of used materials such as glue — in short, things you only know if you've laid carpets by hand. Time and again, we combine this expertise with design, craftsmanship and new technologies to create products that stand out and meet tomorrow's requirements.

We focus on our creativity and innovative strength. In 2016, we developed the first circular project carpet in collaboration with Niaga®. Using the Niaga® click-unclick technology, the carpet layers can be separated again at the end of life in order to recover the raw materials.

At Donkersloot, we are actively working to achieve a sustainable and circular reality. Keeping raw materials in circulation for as long as possible, creating and maintaining value are our main goals. We led the way with the fully circular BT40, manufactured with the Niaga® tag. And we will continue to look at which materials and technologies provide an even higher yield for people and the environment. We challenge our chain partners to help innovate and use their expertise to find new solutions so that our carpets can be better reused and also easier to disassemble. All this in order to be able to use the processed raw materials for as long as possible.
