More than 20 years ago, the carpet industry created the GUT certificate to work together to reduce the environmental and health impact of carpets. More than 90% of European carpet manufacturers are now affiliated with this. PRODIS, GUT's information system, contains all relevant information for end users and consumers about carpet products and their environmental and health aspects. The GUT Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) has been established in the same way for all certified products, so that everyone can compare these products fairly. From PRODIS, consumers and end users can download the EPD and CE label directly.
