MaterialDistrict, an inspiring event

Today was already MaterialDistrict's last trading day at the Werkspoor Cathedral in Utrecht. The event that is always busy and where exhibitors show (material) innovations is one of the most inspiring fairs if you ask us. This annual fair is therefore one of our favorites, to exhibit and walk around.

A dive into the world of materials

MaterialDistrict, an event for innovators, designers, architects and material enthusiasts, offers a unique opportunity to delve into the world of materials. From sustainable solutions to advanced technologies, visitors are treated to a diverse range of materials and innovations. Whether it's exploring the latest developments in bioplastics or marveling at the versatility of recycled materials. It is an event that promotes creativity and inspires.

Feel and experience

The orientation process (by interior designers) is increasingly taking place online. And while the digital age has brought a wealth of information to your fingertips, it's very important to experience materials first-hand. That is why it is all the better to see that the fair is so well attended and that the interior designers and designers present found the experience of seeing and feeling the materials in real life enriching. Because even though the orientation process changes, in the end, your carpet always wants to see and feel — experience!

Tile carpet in the spotlight

During the fair, we updated visitors, among other things, about the latest developments within our organization in the field of tile carpet and sustainability. In addition to the fact that sustainability is an important theme within our organization, we also want to show what can be done with tile carpet. Because so much is possible, especially with (tile) carpet. An interesting mix of visitors, ranging from students, professionals and day trippers, resulted in fun and diverse conversations. We see designers inspired by the possibilities of our products, while, as a manufacturer, we receive valuable feedback and insights from designers and architects as they interact with our products. Partly thanks to these valuable conversations, it was a very successful fair.
